Hi
Ive decided to cancel my Broadband/TV package with EE because I’ve taken a far better deal with another provider.
As I’m cancelling early into the contract I accept there is an early cancellation fee but was astounded to learn in my case I’m being asked to pay £1024 which I find outrageous.
Although I was aware I’m liable to pay a cancellation fee when I signed up, the amount was never explained to me at the time of signing up, is this breach of contract on the part of EE?

@Ibartdeco51 : If you cancel your contract while still within min. term you will have to pay Early Cancellation Charges. You can see the method used to calculate your Early Cancellation Charges & some examples on p28 of EE TV, BROADBAND AND HOME PHONE Price Guide .

@Ibartdeco51 You may also if possible cancel the new ISP that you went to and return to EE and then carry out the whole period off the contract, all depending on what and how you did it all, with any penalty if anything for the new ISP or cool of periods that they may have.
EE will come take the money from you that is owed, they have no issues doing so!
