Can't link broadband to my account

After upgrading to fibre and being discarded by BT who pushed me onto EE I cannot link my broadband to my account. They are happy to send me a bill which I cannot view, and happy to take my money but are unwilling to fix the problem.

I have called EE endless times and every time they say it will be fixed in a few days. I told them this is an ongoing problem with a lot of customers going back months as can been seen in the EE community posts. Yet they deny the problem exists.

I regret ever asking to be upgraded, I wish I had stayed with BT, sadly I can't go back.

The smart hub plus is not so smart I have since found, I can no longer get wifi to where I need it, partly because where Openreach placed the router. They will only put the router in the easiest place for them not for me, there is no consultation between the customer and Openreach as to the best place to locate the router.

The EE hub doesn't seem to have a very strong wifi signal, it is now one room away from where the old BT hub used to be, but it seems unable to penetrate one brick wall. I have tried various boosters none of which are that successful.

I only went for the upgrade to be able to have the landline removed to cut down on my outgoings, now it will probably cost me even more to have to get someone in to sort it.

I give up !!!

I totally agree with you, I was talked into changing to EE and have had nothing but problems since… can’t see my bill, or receive any internet in some rooms etc….

What BT have done is thrown customers under a bus. They don't want broadband or mobile customers, apparently they only want to concentrate on business customers. Broadband speed is good but wifi from the router is almost non existent, and now they are trying to sell us wifi 7. The wifi is so bad I don't get wifi to my workshop which is a mere 10 metres from the house, which stops me installing security cameras, to have cameras I have to have the drive dug up and an ethernet cable laid. I eagerly await for when my 2 year contract ends.
