My EE WiFi extenders will only pair if I connect them directly to the router with a network cable. They will stay paired if I remove the network cable as long as I don’t unplug them, but if I unplug & move them to another location they just won’t reconnect (pair again). They are effectively useless as WiFi extenders. They are infuriatingly slow to pair at all & then won’t work where they are needed. All in all THESE EE WIFI EXTENDERS ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. My old BT extenders never gave such problems. Anyone got recommendations for alternative WiFi extenders that will actually work with the EE 7 pro router?

I have the exact same issue. So frustrating and time wasting

I am in exactly the same situation. My Pro7 Extender does not work. I have been through the re-booting process so many times I have lost count. To then be told I have to pay £40 for an engineer visit, which I am quite happy to pay providing they accept my invoice, which will be much higher, for my wasted time on this useless equipment. I am now looking forward to ending my contract with EE.

@ElliB82 Highly unlikely EE will accept anything from you in the slightest, getting extenders to work and mesh in general can be easy/difficult, but does seem from your post you cannot get even out the starting gate!
