Hi @Steward75

What package are you on currently.

From the devices you mention they won't use a WiFi 7 signal. The router you have would seem to be the most compatible.

Alternatively just buy a WiFi 7 router which will be more adaptable to your needs, will last longer if you are wanting this service.

Thanks

@Steward75 When you signed up for your package, the EE Smarthub Pro wi-fi 7 was not even an option, so the Plus you got was it, some have now been upgraded to the latest, and others have not, there is no fixed rhyme or reason, so if you want to do it you will have to pursue it with EE and the best off luck.

@Steward75

Just a comment about upload speeds.It seems that it's OpenReach that restrict the upload speeds.

My daughter has Vodafone on a City Fibre network and gets 930 down & up but I'm on OpenReach and Vodafone would only give me 910 down & 105 up and charge me more😞

@Timbo45 is right. The maximum upload you're likely to see on a consumer Opernreach line is from a 1800/120 FTTP line (so ~115mbps upload).

Openreach do have a 1000 symmetrical product however, you'd be paying through the nose for it even if you were to find a provider actually willing to sell it to you.

@Timbo45 Until OR implement there XGS-PON then speed will be the limiting factor at there end. GPON just will not cut it!
