Broadband with no refund !

I have just signed up to EE and when I was offered the contract I was with PlusNet .

the sales person told me not to worry as they will refund up to £300 that I might have to pay to PlusNet to get out of my contract.

so of course I said yes they took charge of the Change over . I settled my £170 to PlusNet alto settle the early contact cancellation.

sent all of that to the switch team to be told no I can’t have a refund !!!
Are EE having a laugh

Hi

I hope you can help I have been miss sold a Broadband contract.

I had 7 months left with PlusNet and was told that if I moved to EE they would pay form my fee to get out so of course I was happy to swap .

until now I’ve had to pay £170 to get out of my contact with PlusNet and now EE are saying they won’t refund it !!!Far from happy …..

@Charlie275  The offer specifically excludes customers coming from other parts of the BT Group. See Terms of the offer https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/early-cancellation-credit#:~:text=We%27ve%20made%20y...

Ironically had you done more research and contacted PlusNet first they would have arranged the transfer without termination charges. There are many examples of this happening on the PlusNet forum.

@Charlie275  I have provided some information on your other thread.

Was there a reason you wanted to move from PlusNet?
