Broadband red

I have regular ee broadband and have done for the last 3 years, my router has randomly gone red and says to call ee, however I can't as they aren't open. I have turned it off and on multiple times and have pressed the factory reset for 30 secs. Is this a problem I can solve??

@BenCousins What EE router do you have?, if you leave it alone does it ever recover by itself or do you always have to restart it, if you do not do the paper clip Factory reset and just power off then back on does it ever work!
