having taken out full fibre 150 for £29:99 as it was advertised i am being charged £34:99 a month , when i rang to query it they said to check my contract, after checking it was broadband £34:99 less £5 discount which is £29:99 so why am i paying £34:99. Has any one else had this problem.

You're paying £34.99 less £5.00 = £29.99 which is what you agreed. Not sure what you are asking.

@John-201 The offer at £29.99 was for New Customer's, Existing customers pay the full price, but if you have a bill that says £34.99 with £5.00 discount = £29.99 then that is all that you will pay, direct debit, or whatever method you have agreed to.
If not paying the amount the link below and accounts and billing is were you need to go.
