Broadband has gotten expensive! So currently at £41.25 a month 67mbps. Contract ends November 2025. New customers are offered £27.99 for same speed, but renewal for me is £45. I get discounts on 5 sim only contracts, but that’s inflated as before broadband I still had good deals and could gift data. Anyone else have this dilemma?
Also sister company BT offers a switch for £27.99.

And what is the package you are being offered to renew?
If it is All Rounder or Full Works (which it sounds like based on the price), check again within your last 30 days and if it is still saying the same give them a call and see what they can do for the Essentials package.
You could try giving them a call sooner as the recontracting window can sometimes run up to 90 days before the end of the minimum term, but definitely worth doing in your last 30 days.

Are you only being offered an All Rounder or Full Works package? If so, and you want an Essentials package, it would be worth calling them in the last 30 days of your minimum term.
What package are you currently on? If it is an All Rounder or Full Works package you would lose any of the benefits associated with it by moving to Essentials which can be seen here: https://ee.co.uk/content/dam/help/terms-and-conditions/broadband/plans/ee-essentials-all-rounder-and...

Currently no deals other than an increase in package, so re contracting window is open but not for a deal or a price reduction. I think as most people would agree that the new customer offering is far stronger than existing customers. I think loyalty is forgotten when you’ve been a customer for over 15 years.
