I am considering moving my broadband to EE from BT but wonder what is possible.
There is no BT Fibre in my road but City Fibre is there, do EE use City Fibre cables?

@Timbo45 That's what they say, my choice is OR that is all that is here for the Fibre supply to the home, it is alleged that OR are looking to do symmetrical speeds but that is yet to happen, good if you need to be uploading to a server somewhere external to the network but if not then the FF500/75 currently is way more than enough currently!

I'm disappointed that as we progress service seems to get worse, big plans to cover the country with high speed fibre but one company won't work with another. I'm currently paying roughly 3 times more for FFTC than I could get FFTP with speeds 10 times currently slower that what will be available on full fibre but not with my current supplier.
My current broadband supplier seems to have the attitude lump it or like it, couldn't care less.
I had a conversation with a Sky rep on the high street and was met with sarcasm and an attitude that sucked, apparently there is no way of giving me an idea of what service I could expect and no idea of cost unless he could get into my account due to the many discounts that may or may not be available.
Whatever happened to being able to say you could get x speed for x amount per month but possibly get a discount because you have been a customer for 25 -30 years rather than only prepared to bother unless he was in the position to sign me up there and then.
Why couldn't he access my account? I didn't know my password, or those i did know didn't work, I just wanted a conversation to get an idea.
As I get older I am getting more and more fed up with the couldn't give a damn attitude but at the end of the day I want/need broadband.
Please keep thoughts and suggestions coming and maybe I can really decide between the good and the bad.

@David254 It's all down to what Fibre and the Companies doing the Fibre that is running past your home, you have OR Openreach the national supplier trying to get round everyone but no guarantee as to when / if / or why, then you have all off the other's like CF CityFibre, now a fairly big player in the market and all off the other smaller players trying hard to get your business that being your money, then ISP's doing deals to who and not trying to upset there balance and P others off.
As you have CF running past your door, then go to the CF web site, all those dealing will be on there, as to if/what works it's all a lottery at present so to say! It's a balance for me FF500 connection, and lowest sustained so far 200Mb/s when the Network got real busy, but that FF500 did not blip as the house is happy and doable at a 200Mb/s speed, so no one got P'd off, that's the wife by the way, blue murder when the Internet goes down, me don't give a flying **** you know the rest!
There are no deals you just have to work out get the price and go straight away, make a decision and stick by it, nearly 20 years on sky before i left, but glad to be back from the EE wilderness!
