Broadband equipment not delivered

Hi,

I recently signed up to Full Fibre, and after having my engineer appointment yesterday the service is now active but I'm still waiting on delivery of the equipment. The online tracker claims that it was despatched to Royal Mail on the 6th Sept but that's the only update I've had. If I try to track it through Royal Mail, their only update is to say that the sender (EE) was despatching it on the 6th.

Obviously Royal Mail were striking this week so I expected some delay but it seems strange that there have been no further updates or communication. Does anyone have any advice on what to do next?

Alas there is not a lot you can do, the tracking information is just the basic service so you won't get anything from them.

Do you have any other router you could use? You will need to contact the Broadband Care Team for your username and password, although a BT router may work as it is.

Royal mail was on strike  on the 8th and 9th but hey cancelled the strike due to the unfortunate death of are beloved Queen

I've thankfully managed to borrow an old BT router from a friend and, as you say, it's currently working which is a relief. Obviously it's good to still have internet but it'd be nice to know when my actual equipment is going to show up.

Glad you got it sorted at least for now, I am sure once the posties are back on Monday it will turn up, if not on Tuesday.

Sometimes it is better not to have too much info on parcels, I had notification that my package had arrived at the local Avro/Hermes depot, onlt for them to take a week to deliver the package!
