Hello there.

my ee broadband is down since yesterday and I’ve done everything to try and fix the problem. I’ve turned it off for 10 mins and back on again changed the connections at the back of the hub and nothing and I can’t check the status either because that’s not working as well

please help

What lights show on the router?

Have you reported your problem with your BB to EE? They can't do anything about it until you do. Text HELP to 66033 to get EE to test the line & see what needs doing.

What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed? Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)?

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

The only lights showing are the power on button and the Wi-Fi symbol and number two is on as well, but the only problem being is I can’t report it to EE as I’m a tenant

You mean you are not the a/c holder? Then you need to get the a/c holder to report it. Your tenancy agreement should point out his obligations to you in providing a working BB service to your flat/room. Therefore your 1st recourse is to them.

Which router is that? Current EE routers don't have multi lights.

Yes, I’m not the account holder. I have raised the Internet issue to my Land Lady and now it’s down to her plus, it’s a bright box wireless router. I don’t know what that means but I’ve literally done everything so I don’t know why it’s not working. Thank you for helping me

Yes, that's an old router altho' I'm still using a BrightBox 2  on Full Fibre. Is it the flat BrightBox 1 or the upright BrightBox 2?

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker.
