Hi all, my broadband 24 month contract ends on the 12th of November 2026. Will I incur an early termination fee if I change to a new provider in the next couple of days?

If you order BB from the new provider in the next few days the actual migration will usually take place in about 2 weeks. You would incur an ETF if the migration takes place before 12th Nov. The ETF would be small, less than 1 month's fees. Doesn't the new provider offer to pay ETF up to some limit?

You could order with the new provider beforehand but insist that the migration doesn't happen before 12th Nov. to avoid any ETF.

@Thos Yes, but do remember you are paying the 1 month ahead payments wise. EE are real strict on it now.
