BT broadband to EE 1.6gbps

What a pain it has been to switch over to EE to get new router and faster speeds. Initially I was told they can order the 1.6gbps broadband from EE as I had by complete WiFi and i agreed only then after the phone call ended I noticed they simply transferred over like for like package on EE and found I then had to pay more not much but still £1 more. I was later told to let my order complete and I can then regrade and get the 1.6gb fibre from EE. I then checked on EE and it was still showing as I have the 900mb package. A few days passed, however  to my surprise it now shows I can get rhe 1.6 gbps package from EE. So when I called again to day I was told I can’t get it even though I am on full fibre fttp as the people on the phone said they can’t see the offer so can’t provide this to me  so firstly I was misled and missold what I was ordering then now their site doesn’t match it states I can get which is mis advertising. I have spent a number hours on the phone.

To be honest Dave I have buried my head in the sand with EE so stopped looking if I'm honest.😑

Just infuriates me the more I keep looking the more I get angry with them.

The sad part of all this is I have been with EE for many years now with 3 sim tariffs' I have with them.

They work perfect and I have got super deals on all three tariff's that I have. 

Then all this started, Broadband..... PAH!!!!

I know that feeling, it is my first time dealing with EE and it not off to a great start, why they could not just of put me back on the 900meg connection untill this is sorted but no, nothing son upset as he got the new Xbox and it can’t even multi play on it let alone download games it been. Real **bleep**e show be it EE or Openreach

I will update as soon as i hear anything but i guess i be posting next Friday to say still not fixed, but who knows i might be surprised by them, but not holding my breathe

Got my dispatch notice today for Smart Hub Plus which is good news, hopefully it'll come by Tuesday.

Did you (or anyone else) get any the satellite boosters in the box?

I currently have 3 from BT although only need 2 in this house.

Yes they have already sent me the Smart Hub Plus with a Satellite booster attached to it through the post.

Don't get too excited as others have had theirs sent too, Still a lot of us waiting for activation and a connection.

It’s being overseen by the highest level of complaints at BT-EE and the person dealing with my complaint is watching it closely. 

I’ll report back on Tuesday what has gone on or if anyone even turns up! 😳

Sorry mate I'm not laughing at you but I have had the very same reply from EE over the phone and also guaranteed compensation for the utter balls up they have made in selling us a product that they can't actually give you.

PS: You will get an email shortly saying they have closed your complaint just like I did when in-fact the complaint wasn't sorted..😉

I know in this case the complaint absolutely won’t be closed until there’s a resolution even if it’s not a favourable outcome. It’s not the regular customer services team looking after me for this. 

Not saying that they can change the outcome or issues with OR but I am getting callbacks and email updates outside of the usual new customer process and it’s being well managed.
