BT account delete and force to create a new contract and account with EE

Hi,

I have more than 3 months to connect my BT broadband with a move home since October 2024 and sometimes in 14 January 2025 I have received a phone call from engineers to connect my broadband, in a mean time I was move my home, again and I have inform BT cause I will not need the broadband at that address, I explain cause they can close that order. So, this is the information I give them and ... nothing happened. Now where I move i have a landline.m but I request to move the box from where it is and fix it in my room. Seems cause the policy and rules they are changed with the new partnership with EE. They can't move a box because they are multiple people living at that address, they require me to change my address, so, to change my address in an absolute address which doesn't exist. I could ask them if the council they aprove to change the address how you like it, legal?

BT they said: we owe £6 and something for every day we failed to connect your broadband, since October it is gone more than 50 days plus my BT contract paid every month with no broadband. They decide to delete my account with no other story, no refund, no email with what they owe me. Shame.

On other hand I paid already 2 accounts, BT and EE and I have no broadband, no internet.

I have been forced to make a new contract. Again, they failed to provide all the services and information. Of course they will have excuses, like always, just to delay again my broadband or any kind of refund.

It was supposed to be in contact with one of managers in this evening, no one ring me.

But in the end of March every year they increase the payment because ... we increase the services... this is the answer I received for the last 4 years, but the service is the same, even the hub is the same.

Sorry, but where in all that did you or BT move your BB to EE? If you're still with BT you need to contact BT or pose your issue on the BT Community.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Maybe you could have right, but seems cause I miss to write cause BT they delete my account. How can I write to BT Community if they delete my account? Or you are one from customer service and you read what I write and understand what you want? I'm just saying.

That is happened in the past, I mention to close an order from my BT account and they close my account. They are in partnership, BT and EE, right? Or is just to pass the service from one provider to another one and avoid to get in contact with services or customers? I'm just saying.

@proful You need to understand that BT and EE are separate business models and both OWNED by the BT group, if you call CS, then you may get an EE or a BT Guide with the coming together, cross training etc.

If you account with BT got closed, it should NOT be deleted and access to it for a period, if it did not happen then you need to take that up with BT....

@proful , this is a public forum and the same with BT you can still contact them or write in their forum instead of EE. There is no way we have access to accounts here and do not know who you are, so will have to go to BT as EE and BT are two companies and your problem seems to be with BT.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

@proful Honestly your posting is probably the hardest to read and work out were you are coming from. Just so you know!

We're i coming from? Seems cause all you read they are pictures in magazines, right? After my understanding, you are basic in communication, right? You can't deal with more than 2 phrases, right? I mean, you are on all the topics with no more than one phrase, right? But I'm glad cause this is what I have said before, pushed people or trow them, right?

And this is what I have said before, the subject is gone because they are people like you who doesn't bother to read the topic, or just try to understand the topic.

Just so you know.

Like I said, don't bother to reply.

Have a great day.

@proful , most of us are customers like you, this is not customer service, but a public forum where customers will try and help, there are some staff here, but like anyone in the forum, we do not have any account access and do not know who you are, but will try and help where possible, no need to be rude if you want help, your best bet is to speak to the technical team to get an answer, there are ways to speak to them, see my signature.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Anyone can go on the BT Community. You do not need to be with BT.

I'm not from CS. I'm just a user but, no, I don't understand what you wrote.
