Please could someone explain why I cannot set parental controls on a BT Smart Hub 2 with the EE app. Running latest app and have reset hub.

A bit like the reason the myopic self serving Post Office stuck with defending the faulty Horizon System for too long. ‘Mostly it’s working fine’.
The numbers game doesn’t stack up ‘mostly people are happy ignore the complainers’ isn’t really a good/sustainable or safe business model’.
It’s an IT, Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction Issue. not a War Scenario where a % of casualties are acceptable.
It feels like ‘they’ (BT/EE) have broken what I had and the EE Trade Puff Promise re Family Safety is flawed IF they don’t seek to resolve matters in a reasonable fashion & timescale to an acceptable standard it will potentially amount to a fundamental Breach of Contract and Actionable.
Trading Standards are but one Port of Call.
Not the most encouraging thoughts of a new Customer who simply wants what was offered and accepted.
