Authentication problem Hudl 2

I’ve been trying to connect my daughters Hudl 2 to the Wi-Fi it just keeps coming up authentication problem. It’s been reset to factory settings and it connects just keeps coming up authentication problem and comes up saying I need to check my Wi-Fi settings any ideas. I’ve turned my router on and off, forgot and reconnected the Wi-Fi on the tablet but still saying the same any help would be great

@Jojomojo1984   which router are you trying to connect to?

One possible solution, depending on the router is to switch the 5Ghz band off and connect to the 2.4Ghz channels.

It’s an EE smart hub

@Jojomojo1984 : For the black EE Smart Hub, but not the white EE Smart Router, try separating the wireless bands/SSIDs. On the Advanced > Wireless Settings page of the SH there is a button near the top to Separate the Bands. Turn it ON. Then the 5GHz SSID will appear starting with "5GHz-" & the 2.4 GHz SSID not starting with "5GHz-". Then connect your devices to the 2.4 GHz SSID if they can't do 5GHz.
