I have a 'Smart' Aqualisa shower that will only work in a smart way if connected to a 2.4GHz wifi network. I can't find an option in the Smart Hub configuration that allows manual allocation of 2.4GHz to selected devices. I can, however, just switch off 5GHz, but that rather fefeats the purpose of dual band/smart wifi.
Any thoughts on solving this problem? Thanks

@Colhew switch off the 5 GHz set the devices up and then once they’re working you can turn on the 5 GHz again.

For an EE Smart Hub, but not an EE Smart Router, try separating the wireless bands/SSIDs. On the Advanced > Wireless Settings page of the SH there is a button near the top to Separate the Bands. Turn it ON. Then the 5GHz SSID will appear starting with "5GHz-" & the 2.4 GHz SSID not starting with "5GHz-". Then connect your devices to the 2.4 GHz SSID if they can't do 5GHz. The Smart Router doesn't allow this.

@steviebeec you have found a thread that was posted before the app was introduced.
You need to log into the router via a browser on 192.168.1.254 using the details on the card attached to the router, and go to the advanced section to switch the 5Ghz section off whilst you attach the device.

@steviebeec : You've tacked onto a 2 year-old thread about the original Smart Hub. You probably don't have that. Which router do you have?
Try on the Advanced > Wireless Settings page to temporarily disable the 5 GHz WiFi band & move off the Smart channel while connecting problematic 2.4 GHz devices.
