I want to disable my digital caller message set up and use my own answering machine.
Is this possible ? I’m missing too many messages now that I’ve gone digital and would never have changed had this been made apparent.

You can't turn landline 1571 VM service OFF but when you dial 1571 under Personal Options (2) > Calling Options (3) > Ring Period (2) there is an option to set the ring period to Short (4 rings), Medium (7 rings) or Long (10 rings) to give time for your own answering machine to pick it up.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
