Hi all, just a quick thing. I recently joined EE for the first time for broadband and home phone. And they changed our phone number without telling us? Is that normal? They never mentioned it at all and we have been waiting for important phone calls.
Also there seems to be a glitch in the app?
I tried to link it to my account number and it tells me:
"Some of the details on your EE ID don't match those on the account you're trying to link. Check your Profile to make sure your details are the same as on your bill."
Is this a known problem? I don't know how to get it to work!
Thanks all!

- When you ordered from EE, did you supply your existing landline no. & say you wanted to keep it?
- Did you join EE from BT? If so, It seems that some personal details, like name, addy & DoB, are brought over from BT but don't tally with the ones you gave when setting up your EE a/c.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

I didn't join from BT. I have been with a few different providers in the past and always kept the same number. But honestly can't think if I had that conversation with EE before as it has never been an issue.
It certainly is a curious one!
Cheers

Morning @mjfouldes
Thanks for coming to the community.
Please give us a call and our broadband team can get the number looked into and see what they can do to help you get this sorted 🙂
Let me know how you get on.
Leanne.
