Amazon Fire Tv new wifi cannot connect to EE

I have EE wifi.

I have not been able to log my Amazon Toshiba Fire TV to EE wifi as there is EE cookies message which does not show fully. It says click ok if you accept cookies. Nothing happens. This is preventing me from logging into EE wifi for the first time on this tv. It says scroll down etc to click ok on the cookies box, but nothing happens when I click ok. My phone is on EE wifi and that is fine. The Amazon fire tv is registered on my Amazon account. It is just the cookies box with white background that will not move, so preventing me from logging in. It also says connect to EE wifi but not connected to the internet. Yet I can connect to the internet on my phone.

Will I need installation ie wiring drilled?

I do not have permission for wiring and drilling.

Thank you.

Other than plugging the router into the mains, it picks up the mobile signal  and re-transmits it as a wi-fi signal around the property. You may have to try different places where to put the router, dependent on how strong the signal is, maybe near to a window. No drilling will be necessary, maybe a mains lead extender if you do not have a socket nearby.

I did manage to change the screen aspect ratio. However it had no impact on the EE cookie box just in front of the EE log in page.

So am still stuck.

Thank you.

Sorry for the confusion.

I have EE voucher fot wifi brought online. I fo not have home broadband.

Thank you.

Not for a mobile router. It probably would if you wanted fixed Home Broadband.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hi again @Karen207  To avoid any confusion, when I referred in an earlier post to “having a socket nearby” I meant a mains socket (to power the mobile router).

Did you click on the link I provided ? Where it says EE Mobile Broadband in green and underlined, which will explain all about how you can have home broadband through an EE mobile router.

Hi

I just clicked on the link.

Sounds like the solution.

I just need to check prices and terms.

Thank you.

Hi

When I clicked on the green link, I noticed that it does not say anything
about compatibility with fire tv's. It just states laptops and tablets.

I apologise for asking, but can you confirm does your brother in the wilds
of Scotland has been able to connect the wireless router to a fire tv?

Thank you.
