How do you add an Account Manager in the EE App?
We were speaking to EE on phone earlier and the account is in name of someone who is not able to be speaking to them everytime and numerous time they have given permission for a particular relative to speak on their behalf so today ask if that person could be named on system so they didn't have to keep getting account holder to speak to them each time.
The response was that via the EE app you can add an Account Manager. Sounds great but we can't find out how to do it, can anyone help?

There is only the A/c Holder who is entirely responsible for the a/c. There is no option to add another person as a subsidiary a/c mgr. to the online a/c.
However the A/c Holder can call CS to appoint a 3rd-party to handle day-to-day aspects of their a/c over the phone with CS on their behalf. They will not be cleared to affect contractual matters, like cancellation or upgrades.

So there is no such thing as adding an Account Manager via EE App then?
Account Holder has given the name of a third party numerous times yet everytime they insist on speaking to account holder.

It is so infuriating! To go through giving the the details of person to speak to and then they don't accept it when said person calls, not ideal to have to keep disturbing someone in poor health when they want said person to deal with it.
Then to be told today to make an account manager in app which looks like it is not possible!! 🙄

There is no such thing as an Account Manager in the App unfortunately, only Account Holder and User.
If the Account Holder currently has an EE ID account set up, you could log into it with their credentials and will then have full permissions but One Time Passcodes may be required which will be sent to the Account Holder's contact method.
If this is not currently set up, you could set this up with them with their permission so that you can have a full overview of the account.

App is setup on other person's phone but account holder needs that person to be able to deal with EE in terms of if they need to phone EE to make enquiries, changes etc...

Then today when I called they had no issue with taking instruction from me, didn't ask to speak to account holder, just sent me a text with a PIN to read back to them. Why can't they always do this instead of seemingly making it up as they go along.
