Abandoned order for broadband switch

Juan_RW
Visitor

Hi, I started placing an order for broaband that triggered a One Touch Switch request to my current provider (Hyperoptic) but did not complete the EE order (didn't get to the order stage of entering bank account details nor cllick on submit/confirm order, as the email from Hyperoptic which included a very high termination fee.  Since the EE order was abandoned, do I have to do anything else at this stage or will my service stay as it is?

P.S. I intend to switch my broadband to EE but only once I can exit my current contract with no penalties...

If you had not yet confirmed your order with EE, it won't have triggered a One Touch Switch request to your current provider & so there would not be any communication with Hyperoptic. Conversely if you had received an email from Hyperoptic about a switch you must have completed the order with EE.

@Juan_RW In theory it all should be fine, you may get a call from EE Sales to see if they can persuade you to do the move but not completed and as long as you do not have conformation from EE as a welcome and Hyperoptic as the sorry to see you go!
