Hi all,
I have recently joined BT however they have set up my broadband with EE.
At the time I signed up, I was told as a new customer I would be eligible for a £130 virtual rewards card which I can claim after my 14 day cooling off period.
Was told I should receive an email however I havent- after a live chat with BT, EE and a call to EE as well, I am being told there is no such reward showing on my account (nevermind BT, theyre trying to tell me my account doesn't exist but theyre taking the money monthly?!)
Now I turn to here to seek advice: has anyone actually been able to successfully claim this card, and if so, how? Nobody seems to have a clue and it's becoming frustrating, especially since that was the only reason we chose BT/EE over Vodafone.
Any help would be much appreciated!

@AlteredTrinx that’s the first time I’ve heard that one. EE do offer buy out credit that if you’re still in contract with your old broadband provider they will pay out up to £300 to go towards the last payment with the old provider.

So the offer was with BT for new customers and when I'd called to purchase, they said I'm eligible for the offer and to wait out the 14 day cooling off period.
When I started getting all of the emails for broadband set up etc. We realised that the broadband would be with EE as theyre partnered up, though they hadn't mentioned it on the phone during my purchasing the broadband.
Ive seen a few posts on here with people having similar issues

@AlteredTrinx Is the rewards card via another online company per chance, if so you need to go back to them!

It is, but I can't reach out to them until I have 'claimed' it through BT/EE.
I have tried to call them and thats what they told me anyway!

@AlteredTrinx BT and EE are NOT the same company, EE do not do rewards card promotions as far as i am aware!
The company must have details of what needs to be done to make the claim, did they not e-mail you exactly the procedure required!

Then you can only take it up with BT. It's no good asking EE & its users.
Try the BT Community . They may have heard of it.
