1.6gb Broadband - Modem Mode / Third Party Router

Can the EE wifi 7 pro router be switched to modem mode OR can i bypass it completely and feed the connection straight into my asus mesh system?

@BootsOnBallast  No you can't switch the EE Router to modem mode, but if your Asus Mesh can be set to PPOE mode then you should be able to connect it direct to the ONT. Some info is available here https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/using-and-configuring-a-third-party-router 

PPOE username is the standard BT one, and there is no need to set much else.
