We’re bringing our 5G standalone network to 16 new locations before the end of the year with more locations to follow.
That means EE’s most advanced mobile network will be live in more than 30 major towns and cities across the UK, including every capital city.
Each of the 16 new locations will benefit from having at least 95% outdoor coverage on 5G standalone to ensure reliable and consistent performance.

- Birkenhead
- Bury
- Coventry
- Dudley
- Dundee
- Newport
- Nottingham
- St Helens
- Stockport
- Swansea
- Weston Super Mare

What 5G standalone gives:
More reliable and consistent performance, delivering improved video calls, streaming and online gaming, as well as higher quality voice calls in busy places.
What you will need to access it:
5G standalone is available across a range of the latest smartphones and devices and comes included as standard with EE’s new Full Works and All Rounder pay monthly plans.
It is currently available on the following devices: Apple iPhone 15 and 16 series, Samsung Galaxy S23 and S24 lineup, TCL 50, Moto Razer 50 Ultra, and Moto G 85 5G with further smartphones to be enabled in the coming months. It is also available on EE 5GEE WiFi and 5GEE Home.
