How do I register my mum's phone, She is currently in the hospital fighting Covid, so I don't have access to the phone, because the text is sent to her so unable to complete the registration

Firstly sorry to hear about your Mum, I hope she improves soon.
In terms of the phone registration, is this a new phone or replacement? Is it on PAYG or pay-monthly?
