phone problems

Phone keeps saying no sim, but sim is inserted. and now my google, email and some other apps are not working

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi @mbs240 

 

You have 2 separate issues here.

 

1: The SIM - are you on PAYG or pay-monthly, and have you tried restarting your phone?

 

2: The Android apps - take a read of this thread on the Android section of this board. You will need to update the "System Webview" or "Google Chrome" apps in your Playstore to resolve this. I am assuming this is a problem that started in the past 24hours.

 

If this is not the case, then my suggestion could be off-base.
