o2 offer 7GB and Unlimited minutes for £10, EE offer 4GB and 100 minutes for £10, why should I stay with EE ?

No one is forcing you to stay - unless you're on a contract then you won't get any 'loyalty benefits'
Which, you have to threaten to leave to get a good deal, which is a shame really

The good thing about PAYG is that you can get a SIM from another service provider and try it in an unlocked mobile for a couple of months to ensure everything is better in the locations which you typically spend your time before jumping ship.
For those of us tied to minimum term contracts, we would incur additional costs in order to try this.
You might be interested in mobile data performance in your area and the OpenSignal app is good for this. If you don't already have an unlocked phone, this may be an additional cost.

Too right! On top of which you can get free allowances for the month ahead every time you top-up while you can bank the top-up until you are free to use in its entirety to buy allowances in future months.
