Hi, i need to replace my old iphone at the moment i am on a sim only contract. I need to keep the same number and be able to transfer all contacts, numbers and photos onto the new phone. I am classed as in the critically vulnerable category at the moment with the Covid 19 although I am no longer shielding I do not want to go into any shops. Can I do it all on line ???

Hi @Liamadam66

Which SIM only are you on, and what's the minimum term remaining? Do you have a 30day, 12month or 24month SIM-only and when did you take it out? The answers to this will dictate whether Scenario "2" applies.

Otherwise, you have one of two options:

1: Go and buy a new "SIM-free" phone from any online retailer you like - Argos, Amazon, Dixons, take your pick! Have it delivered, put your existing SIM in the new phone and off you go. Just make sure your chosen phone has the same size SIM slot as your current phone, otherwise you'll need to request a replacement SIM from EE which you can then cut-down to the right size.

2: You may be able to "upgrade" your existing plan back to a handset-plan on (probably) a 2year minimum-term contract with EE.
