iphone 12 pro max 256

HI

I ordered my device originally on 19th November it was iphone 12 pro 128 in graphite.

after more than 3 weeks of waiting I called ee again to chceck if i can do anything to make it faster. They told me that if I order iphone 12 pro max 256 it qill be in 3 days max but should be next day. After 3 days i called again and lady told me that it was picked in warehouse and it probably will be on the next day. So here we are 2 days after this call, without any message and any information. I called again today and surprisingly they told that there is a delay on warehouse and it will be deliverd to me on Monday which is in next 4 days. This is some kind of a joke. It's rediculous to wait so much for a phone.

@zwerek  yes it’s a shame that Apple can’t produce them quick enough to give them out to all the network providers and sellers ( even their own stores ) who in turn are trying to get them out to their customers as you know the worldwide pandemic at the moment has has a knock on effect to everything including parts for the iPhone.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Chris_B  I appreciate your opinion

but

Do you not feel that the issue also lies with the phone being oversold then? if we as a consumer had been told that there may be a future issue with supply, it would have been our decision to proceed.

its ok stating that apple cant make them quick enough, but EE are the ones that have made a promise to supply.

also, as soon as an issue with supply was identified, those with an outstanding order should have been informed, they could then have made the decision to continue with the order or change, adapt or cancel as they desired.

I placed an order/upgraded on the 20th of November ,  i phone 12 pro 128 in graphite. it wasn't until the promised date for delivery ( the 12thof December) had elapsed + some additional time I got in touch to chase it.

still not received anything.

@zwerek   same has happened to me Zwerek. There are quite a few like us.

I even upgraded my order on the basis of a promised expedited delivery and 'in stock' phone.

Initially I had no problem with waiting as I believed that there was a degree of honesty baked into the process.  I also know its a popular phone and on certain models lead times are long. However I do object to being told porkies and convinced to re-order on the basis that they could get a phone to me the next day. This just makes me cross and destroys my trust as a customer.

I am in exactly the same situation with the Pacific Blue Pro Max 256. Advised to order this one as it is in stock and available for next day delivery. Did this on Monday thinking it might be a day or 2 late due to Covid but now Friday and no news.

I understand comments re the pandemic but EE should not state an item is in stock if it is not in stock. In stock means sat in our warehouse and ready to ship. The worst part is half the time they blame Apple and the other half of the time it is DPD. If EE were honest to their customers about their stock levels there would not be a problem.
