iPhone 12 sim card

I recently upgraded from iPhone XR to iPhone 12 pro. I got a text this morning to say my new sim has been dispatched. Will I need to use the new sim or can I continue to use my current EE sim on the new device. Worried that it will affect some services on the new phone I.e 5g

@Connormc32  you should be able to use your old SIM card. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
