iPhone 11 green waiting time

I ordered the iPhone 11 green on Monday, I was told it was available and would be dispatched WITHIN 7 days (the other colours were 28 days).

However my order email says it’s a “back order” and the tracking information hasn’t changed at all since confirmation.

@Sas1982 It might of said expect dispatch within 7 days but depending on who else ordered just before you the last device was probably allocated to someone who ordered just before you.    If you beat them to it they’ll probably be here asking the same question as you.   All the colours/storage size now say “Expect despatch in more than 28 days”.
