iPad Pro 2020 12.9 Back Order

Hi,

I recently purchased an iPad Pro 12.9 inch in Space Grey on Friday and it is currently on back order. I can see there is a preorder for the 2021 iPad this week, does anyone know how long the back order for the 2020 one will take or is it worth to preorder the 2021 and cancel?
