I have an iPhone 11 and iPhone 8+ both with EE on the same contract. As the iPhone has the ability to register with the 2 sim's I requested an eSim as was sent the QR code to install on the existing sim. The settings now show a primary and secondary number but

unfortunately they are both the same ( the primary number )

 

Any suggestions, I'm still waiting a response from EE

Welcome to the community.

 

Do you have both an eSIM registered, and a new physical SIM with a different number?

 

Did you get the eSIM to replace the number you were originally using on the physical SIM?

Just received a QR replacement esim which I ran

It then installed the 2 phones on the iPhone 11

Unfortunately it shows private and business with
the same number, the primary number

I have since noticed I cannot phone from the primary
number but it accepts calls to it

I'd recommend speaking with our Tech Gurus so they can take a look at your account.

 

They will be able to help you set up both numbers.
