Shorthand take:
- Took out contract Dec 2020
- Phone has been having issues since March, contacted EE
- Told me I couldn't have a loan phone unless I went in store, bloke on the phone was a grade A doorknob and wouldn't come down off his high horse working phone lines so it ended in an ADR letter being sent
- Multiple phone calls to EE asking for information relating to employees/time/dates of calls for the ombudsman, refused both times to give what I asked
- Phone became unusable, went to 3 different EE stores, none of which could give me a loan phone
- Last store I just decided to send it regardless, was told by the store manager as it was before 4pm it would be picked up today, arrive at the repair center the next day and there was a good chance id have it back the day after that
- Its been 5 days and my phone hasn't even left the store
- Phoned EE, couldnt get through verification without my bank information that I dont know off hand, cant log in to banking due to it being on my phone
- Smug woman on the phone thought it would be funny to troll me by hanging up
- EE now have my phone, the store manager lied about turnaround times, online help staff are beyond useless and act as if they are gods gift to the world and I cant lodge a complaint as they wont provide the requested information
- Seems unfair to me, EE are bad, 100% would recommend bean cans and strings over them
TLDR: EE bad, literally anyone else better

What phone is it?
What is the issue with the phone?

You can't lodge a complaint with the ADR until you have formally lodged a complaint with EE & not got satisfaction within 8 weeks.

Irrelevant question as they have it sat in a store, the same store that told me it would be picked up on friday and repaired this weekend, the same store that according to the tracking just have it sat on the side doing **bleep** all.
S20 5G
Constant flickering on the screen when using certain apps, done all the usual fixes and it has not fixed it, not acceptable on a phone as new as this.

Almost certain you are either trolling or didn't read the post.
I already have my ADR letter, the first advisor on the phone seemed to take great joy in refusing to help me in any way at all, I think it probably stems from him having an awful life and he needs to flex on people where he can, sad.
Re read my post and then you will see how your question makes no sense.

If you speak to the people at EE the way you are now I'm not surprised they are not helping you.
A little respect and politeness goes a long way.
Is the flickering happening on all apps or only certain ones?
Is these apps from the same developer?
It may not actually be a phone issue.
The repair centre is not EE owned so the turn around times won't be known by store employees.

Ah yes, the classic "treat everyone well", weird you would automatically assume that EE were angels and it was all me, I could be wrong but it feels to me like you are hardcore shilling for EE by giving them so much leeway and offering me absolutely nothing but hey ho just how some people are.
Read my post, if you think they have operated with respect and politeness throughout then you are beyond hope.
Occurs with every app that allows you to type in it, different developers, these questions are irrelevant as they have my phone now.
Why did the store manager say what he said then? either he was lying or he was stupid, which one was it?

I can read your post several times but that's just your side of the story. But your post doesn't shed you in any good light as if you talk to them the way you are on here if I worked for EE I would also refuse to help you.
I work on retail and I would not accept anything like this to my employees.
Is the phone fully updated?
Is the apps fully updated?
You do know right when sending phones off for repair they will be factory reset

I am not compelled to answer all your queries. I was addressing 1 point you made.

But who was the sender? I took it to be you as you never mentioned making a complaint. You now reveal it was by EE to you. I couldn't tell that from your construction.
Make what you are saying clearer before being so rude!
