Upgrades

EE sent me a text about upgrading my phone contract so I chose one which will save me a considerable amount of money and ordered the SIM card. EE texted to say I need to phone to complete the order but I can’t get through due to Ltd answering facilities at their end. Surely, as they initiated the upgrade, they can complete it for me? Anyone else had this?
