USB file sharing Bright Box 1(R)

Hi,

I've connected my WD Passport hard drive to the Bright Box 1(R) router through the USB port, but am not sure how to access the files. I have previously had a Smart Hub and know that in order to access files on that, you can use \\192.168.1.254\usb1. How can you access files in this way using the Bright Box?

I would like to map the network to a drive on my computer and have already enabled the SMB 1.0 using the Control Panel.

Can anybody help me? Thanks.

The BrightBox's IP addy is http://192.168.1.1 but I don't know you can access the USB device that way thro' a browser. You can see the USB in Windows File Explorer under Network / Computer / Brightbox.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
