I have tried transferring my number from Giffgaff to EE and every time it goes wrong, a note pops up saying to “use a UK number beginning with 07” which I am doing and the error message is there every time I try. I have tried activating my account and the SIM by topping up and it doesn’t want to top my SIM up, tried that a few times, it took £30 out of my account the third time and I’ve got l nothing on my account, I then tried adding normal credit and that didn’t work either. EE really doesn’t want me on the network it’s seems 😂😂
Has anyone been in this situation?
I ended up giving up and popped my trusty Giffgaff SIM card back into my phone and just topped that up. I thought EE was suppose to be decent but I can’t even transfer a number or top up my account, feel violated 😂😂

Hi @eloisebecky
Welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear that you've had a problem porting your number. It should be pretty straight forward to do both of those things, I'm not sure why it hasn't worked.
I'd recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team so that they can help you transfer the number and top up, if that's something you're still interested in doing.
