I've been charged the 85 before I even have my sim card and I didn't even have the money yet so im massively in debt
Regardless I needed to change my payment day to the 30th but this makes everything I need to do much harder

I would suggest that you get in touch with the mobile care team by calling 150 from your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any phone.

Why the bill is taken 10 days after the arrival instead of the month after makes absolutely zero sense anyways

This is the EE community, and we are unable to help you with regards to getting refunds or changing payment dates. To do this, you have to call customer services.
If none of the numbers you have been given are helping, you can get connected to an advisor directly by calling 0800 317 720.

No SIM here either
I DON'T HAVE AN EE SIM so I can't get anywhere with the online support.
Phone received a week ago. I'm going to go beyond the statutory period to return the phone if there's a problem.
Is there a delay in sending out sim cards??

Have you tried calling EE? I would get in touch with them via phone to see if they can trace the sim card, or send out a replacement.

You could also try the live chat or one of the numbers on the get in touch help page.
Each bill is for your price plan for the month ahead, so you usually get a bill quite quickly after taking out your plan.
Let us know if you manage to get in touch with customer services.
