Sony Xperia, WiFi Calling

I have very poor 4G reception in the building. Tried to set up WiFi calling as per EE website instructions but dont seem to have the menu options they refer to. Bought the phone Xperia XZ on monthly contract from EE a couple of years ago.

Hi @tungstentrout

Just to make sure, is it these instructions that you're following?

If so, which menus are you missing?

Yes, these are the instructions I am following. After step 3, settings there is no 'More' option. If I go into Network and Internet, cant find any reference to WiFi calling anywhere

A couple of other online forums suggest that some instructions may not be correct, and offer:

Settings > Network & Internet > Wifi > Wifi preferences > Advanced -> Wifi Calling

It may also be that different software versions have subtly different menu paths.

thanks, but under WiFi preferences, I have

Open Network notification

Auto Network switch

Advanced.

Under Advanced, I have

Keep WiFi on during sleep

Install Certificate

Network rating provider

WiFi direct

QPS push button

WPS pin entry

MAC address.

There is nothing leading me to WiFi Calling
