Samsung watch 4g

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy watch that I have connected to phone and registered for data. 

When away from phone however it tells me no network is detected when attempting to call etc.

On my account it shows up as a different phone number. Could this be the problem?

@silkybeath   No that will not be the problem as the device does have its own number as that’s needed for data. 

where did you get this watch from ?
