Hi all,
I have very bad signal in my flat and the wifi calling option doesn't connect all of the time. My calls drop in and out and constantly get disconnected. I have spoken to EE who went through all my settings, resets etc but no joy. I also spoke to Sky who were unhelpful and said it would be the phone software but to try separating the 2.4ghz and 5ghz connections and test.
Does anyone have the same issue and has solved this?
Thanks

Hi @AS63.
Welcome to the community.
Do you have regular Sky Broadband or Sky Q?
Do your calls drop out on 4G when you use it?

Hi,
I have Sky Q and it drops during calls when on 4G constantly. It only connects to wifi calling if I turn airplane mode on.
Thanks

Whose Broadband do you have? Is it EE Home BB? If so, which router have you?

Morning @AS63
Thanks for coming to the community
Do you stay connected to WiFi calling when you have your device on airplane mode?
Speak soon 🙂

It is a Sky broadband router.

Yes but only if I keep it in airplane mode, when I take it off it switches back.

Hi @AS63
Thanks for coming back to me.
WiFi calling will connect if there is no 4G available.
Do you notice a 4G connection when your WiFi calling disconnects?
Thanks.
Leanne.

It has 4G but the calls cut in and out or completely drops the call, even if I have full signal. I basically need a way to always be connected to wifi calling otherwise I can never have a normal phone conversation.

Hi @AS63
Thanks for coming back to me.
What does our coverage checker advise for your area?
Does this happen in any other areas?
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.
