Long time EE customer. Like many others I pre-ordered the S20 Ultra 512gb at the beginning of March on the buds promotion. I was told it would be delivered by March 13th which came and went with the weekly generic order update email that eventually stopped too. I know many gave in and downgraded but I wasn't in any rush really. The total silence from EE was a bit concerning though.
To the point of my post: I have received zero communication regarding the status of my order, yet today I started receiving promotional texts from 150 regarding my new plan. So I check my account to see that my plan has been switched to what would have been the new expensive S20 plan. I have received no prior notification of this, but when I check my order tracking (which I gave up checking a long time ago) I see that it has been dispatched... I haven't received the phone or any tracking updates for it. So I want to know why I am now being charged for something I do not have (and to be honest no longer want).
Considering the new promotions and price cuts I wouldn't want to be paying top dollar for this old phone now. And now knowing some of the issues that have come to light from many reviews I don't believe it is the flagship phone i was expecting. Assuming it may turn up in the post I don't know what to do. I doubt the buds promo will be upheld as the cut-off date will have passed. The best option is to probably wait for the Note 20 which will have fixed all the S20 issues.
It's all a massive let down. I don't even have the phone and I'm paying for it. Joke.

Hi @Mees
You will need to speak to EE CS direct on 150 if you want to cancel your order/ plan.
There are no issues with the S20 Ultra, I have one and it's excellent. The latest update makes it better.
Thanks

I know, I'm waiting to see if it actually turns up before I decide. It's the almost 3 month radio silence I have a problem with. Then just throw all the orders out like nothing ever happened.
I'm mainly talking about the focussing issues on the camera that the normal S20 doesn't suffer from. It is built into the ultra's hardware and so far has not been fixed with software updates. Also the much promoted "telephoto" is a pixel mess at range. I'm not expecting a phone camera to match my dslr but that is what this phone is being sold on, it's camera. But these things won't be an issue for the average user.
