Voicemail transcriptions

Interested in setting up converting my voicemail to text but reading the posts it says that other settings need changing - can you elaborate please.

This feature works automatically on iPhones with US region settings but for unknown reasons Apple have never enabled it elsewhere. But if you want to have a go, change the Siri language to US English: Settings > Siri & Search > Language
