Hello,
I purchased a new EE pay monthly SIM as I am moving over from another network provider (Three). I am also keeping my old number and have the PAC from Three.
My question is whether I need to be in the UK to activate the new EE SIM and move my old number across, or if I can do this in Spain where I currently am.
I planned to be in the UK this Christmas but COVID complications may have stopped me being able to travel home this Christmas.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @chrishero81
You will have to wait as EE Sims can only be activated on EE UK network.
Once activated you can port your number across from three.
Thanks

If I put the SIM card in a family member's handset in the UK - so my old number ported across and it registered in an EE network - could they then post me the SIM card to Spain?
Is that a viable work around?
