Pocophone F1, EE App suddenly stopped!

Fwood
Visitor

Hi all

I have an unlocked, Malaysian-bought Poco F1 phone which I have used on the EE network since July this year. App worked perfectly, on PAYG.

I just went to check my data balance using the app and I am getting the green 'There seems to be a problem' screen, something about the configuration of the device...

I have uninstalled the app, and luckily I can still login online to top up, but I do want the use of the app on my phone...

Anyone have any ideas? I did use another number on the phone at Xmas when I was visiting the UK then - the new number with EE is different and new since July. The old one was BT PAYG I think.

Thanks!

@Fwood   It’s an android device that EE doesn’t sell and your device might of had an update that has now made compatibility issues with my EE app.   EE can not check every different type of Android devices there are.    You’ll need to call customer services to report this back so it can be looked in too.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Fwood

Install the app and then go into settings - applications/apps find the EE app and clear the cache and data. Then try again.

Thanks
