Phoned to cancel order...found out my order was already cancelled?

So this was just bizarre. I've noticed a handful of people here that were also worrying why there orders were taking so long to process and ship out and I got a little ansty myself.

 

I'd  ordered the Samsung S20 but I hadn't heard a word about my order since the 5th, with a defunked tracking number and no deilvery date given I decided I'd hold off and wait just a little bit longer to upgrade. 

 

Phone less than 20 minutes ago to be told my order had already been cancelled without my knowledge! So in my case in worked out in the end and I was assured that i should see a refund enter my account within a few days. 

 

I'm just still puzzled by this expereince. How had this happened? The customer service member was just as confused! 

 

If you're still waiting on a order I'd give ee a phone just to be safe.

Hi there, I've had no update or even an email saying that my refund is on the way at all. I understand that refunds may be taking longer than normal but is there any way to check I haven't been forgotten or will I have to phone up again tomorrow?

Again- EE cancelled my order before even I could! I'd just like to know when I could be seeing my £79.99 anytime soon.

I am sorry to hear you have not received your refund. 

 

I would suggest giving us another call to get your refund looked into, our Mobile Care team will be able to give you an update.
