Phone says "Couldn't Register"

I have a Alcatel Phone and is saying "Couldn't Register"

What does this mean ??

@dawnhogg   It can not find a cellular signal.   Have you tried restarting the device? 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
