Hi,
my husband & I have an Apple iPad, I’m being asked to make a monthly payment but my husbands is free.

Good Morning, the account is in my husbands name and we have 5 accounts on there, my iPad is the only one we have to pay extra payments on.

That's cuz the iPad plan is PAYG & therefore not included in the 5 contracts under your husband's MyEE a/c.

Hi we never asked for a PAYG sim we just wanted 3 new sims for our devices, ie 2 iPads and an alarm with required a sim'

@breith : Well, if you're having to regularly top it up it must be PAYG. How did you order them? Remember you had PAYG with 3 previously. Maybe you mentioned that fact when you ordered.

Hi, never mentioned 3. Hubby just asked for 2 SIM cards for our iPads, he got one where he didn’t have to pay anything, I got one where I have to top up.

We don't offer a free of charge data plan. Does your husband only use his iPad on WiFi or when connected to his phone's hotspot?

Hi @breith,
Do you ever need to use your iPad when WiFi isn't available? If not, you don't need a mobile data SIM installed.

Hi, I have BT WiFi, that's why I cannot understand why I was sent a data SIM card, I just want an ordinary sim card.

Hi @breith,
You'll only need a SIM for your iPad if you need to use it on the go, when you aren't able to connect to WiFi.
