I'm heading out the country for 4 months and will be in area which will not be able to access EE, would it be possible or is there a way to pause my plan during the time i'm away? My plan is sim baised and is 1 month over its origonal 12 month plan.
What you're asking for sounds like a payment holiday which isn't something EE currently offer.
If you're not going to be using your phone for a while, and it's outside the minimum term, you seem to have 2 options:
1: Give 30 days notice and disconnect the number. Wave it goodbye and move on.
2: Give 30 days notice and move the number to PAYG. As long as you make a call or send a text at least every 179 days (as per hibernation policy) then your number is kept alive on a PAYG basis.
